It's almost time to get your dog Christmas presents!!!

This Friday and Saturday, the Port Townsend Arts Guild will be putting on their annual Holiday Fair.

This will be Mac's Macaroon's fifth year at this great event--we will be pulling our all the stops with our selection of "Howliday" treats and gifts just for this most wonderful of seasons!

There will be a jolly selection of dog kerchiefs in holiday prints ( for that special photo with Santa Paws ), and if you are giving one as a gift, it can be gift-bagged in a red and green paw print cello bag with a special note to the dog!

Come and greet the Autumn season by attending the Scandia Fall Fest held at the Port Townsend Community Center this coming weekend !!!

We here at Mac's Macaroons are busy getting ready for the Bremerton,Wa. 2009 "Responsible Dog Owner" Show to be held at the the Kitsap County Fairgrounds from 10 am - 4 pm.
This event will be hosted by the Peninsula Dog Fanciers Club, Inc. This is an American Kennel Club event promoting education for all dog owners. The event last year was recognized by the AKC as one of the top events of this type. They hope to do it again this year!!!
The day will include:
---Meet the Breed Booths
---Canine Good Citizen Testing
---Kitsap Co. 4-H obedience Show N Go

We are all busy getting ready for our most wonderful of all our summer fun--the Wooden Boat Festival of 2009!!!

This is the pinnacle of our Maritime history--wooden boats arrive from all over-- they are gently placed in Point Hudson Marina to have over 4000 people lovingly look over them and wish that they were theirs!!!

And then there is the Festival proper--complete with beer garden and dance floor!!!

We are busy getting ready for the 3rd annual Port Ludlow Days 2009!!!
This wonderful event is being sponsored by the Port Ludlow Village Council and the community at large--we have been a vendor there for the past two years, and expect this year to be just as great!!!

Oh what a good time we all had at the 2nd annual PAW-Fest in Kingston!!!
Stephanie Steb worked her heart out and had everyone organized to put on a wonderful, heartfelt effort to put a real emphansis on adopting either a puppu, kitten, older dog, or a retired Greyhound,.
There were all sorts of activities there--"doxie" races ( I have never seen one, and I laughed so hard--these dogs really are ready to race and take it very seriously...)

A fun and educational event is being sponsored this coming weekend (August 2) at the Mike Wallace Park in Kingston,Wa.
This get together is being organized by Country Pet Shoppe, also in Kingston. Of course Mac's Macaroons will be a vendor, and is also a sponsor of the show--there will be several animals there that are in desperate need of a "forever home". Also lots of vendor booths so you can bring your best buddy and have a great day

I will be setting up a display of delicious dog treats at the 2009 Kala Point Art Guild Show to be held May 9th in downtown Port Townsend. This show is very lucky to have as its venue the beautifully re-decorated condos in the historic Eisenbeis building right on Water Street. It will be open from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, and will be a draw for all art lovers,
